Welcome to New Staff

We would like to welcome Stuart and Faustina to our night staff team here at Bryden House. We also would like to welcome Tracy our new Activities coordinator, who is taking over from Simone , who will be leaving us. We wish Simone all the best in her new job.

Driveway

The driveway and parking is now available as part of the major overall.We like to thank all for the assistance whilst we went through this overall change which was really required due to the condition of the old driveway. Access to the home has also been improved with the paving blocks now reaching the threshold of the door, making access of wheelchairs seamless in and out of the home.

NHS CCG Quality Assurance Inspection

The home had a quality assurance visit from Paula Lorenzini from the local NHS Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) she was also accompanied by Worcestershire County Council quality assurance officer Gail Kemp on the 3th July 2018. We are pleased that Paula was assured of the service we give to clients please see extract from her cover letter to us.

Partnership with St Catherines Primary school

We are please to say that we have formed a good relationship with St Catherines School.The interaction of children with senior citizens is a two way process, whereby our residents benefit from the children energy and enthusiasm and the children get to hear directly from residents their life stories.This interaction is not only beneficial to the wellbeing of residents, but assist with community cohesion and the understanding of different generations.

Defibrillator

Thank you to the efforts of staff and the kind sponsorship from the Spa shop, veterinary centre and Dolittle & Dalley we have purchased a defibrillator.The purchase of this equipment is part of strategy of keeping people safe and aid assistance where possible. The equipment will also be available for the local community to access in case of emergencies.
